Dance Program

For young and old alike! The Round Lake Area Park District offers many forms of dance including ballet, tap, modern and jazz. Our experienced instructors tailor the program toward skill development, socialization, and a group dance experience where every dancer excels.

 

Dress Code for Studio of Dance

Girls Ballet / Combo Classes

  • Pink Tights
  • Pink Ballet Shoes
  • Solid Colored Leotard
  • Ballet Skirt (optional)
  • Ballet Sweater/Shrug (optional)
  • Pink Ballet Shoes / Black Tap Shoes (appropriate for type of dance)

Jazz / Jazz Funk / Modern / Accelerated Tap

  • Tan or Black Tights
  • Solid Colored Leotard
  • Jazz Pants / Shorts (optional)
  • Black Jazz Shoes / Sneakers / Black Oxford Tap Shoes (appropriate for type of dance)

Boys

  • Black Tights
  • White T-shirt
  • Jazz Pants / Shorts
  • Black Jazz / Ballet / Tap Shoes (appropriate for type of dance)

Basic Beginner Classes
