Prairie Grass Nature Museum Parties

Celebrate Your Child's Birthday with the Animals of the Prairie Grass Nature Museum!

Enjoy the great outdoors and enjoy nature! All birthday parties include one hour of naturalist-led activities, indoor or outdoor (weather permitting), and half hour inside or in pavilion for food and gifts. Birthday child can choose to have their photo taken with one of our animals!

Reservations

Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis - see below for availability. Additional party time can be added to the time of your reservation at an additional fee. There is a $50 initial payment due at the time of your reservation, along with the Birthday Party Reservation Form and a credit card number or check to be held as a damage deposit. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your party date.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received 14 days prior to your reservation date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the reservation date will forfeit the $25 deposit. All cancellations must be received 14 days prior to your reservation date to receive a full refund of the initial payment, minus 20% (up to $10). Cancellations made within 14 days of the reservation date will forfeit the $50 initial payment. If the Prairie Grass Nature Museum is not able to accommodate the party request, a full refund will be issued.

Prairie Grass Nature Museum Campfire Party - Ages 6+

Celebrate your birthday by roasting marshmallows with friends and family! Offered Memorial Day Weekend through the third week in October, weather permitting.

• 1 hour of outdoor activity (weather permitting)
• Outdoor activities include: fire building, s'more making, games, and/or nature hikes
• Plus, 30 minutes for gifts and food - held outside
• S'mores and campfire supplies are provided
• 1 party host for every 11 kids

Party Costs: $150 up to 11 children

Prairie Grass Nature Adventure Party - Ages 4+

Meet the animals that call the Prairie Grass Nature Museum home, do a scavenger hunt, and play games that will bring the animal out in you!

• 1 hour of activity, meet animals and explore museum or meet outdoors
• Plus, 30 minutes in a party room (1.5 hours total party time)
• 1 party host for every 11 kids

Party Costs: $150 up to 11 children

Art on the Wild Side Party - Ages 8+

Unleash your creativity with these nature-inspired pieces of art that you take home to display!

• 1 hour of art activity (Gyotaku Printing & Scenes or Plant Inspirations)
• Plus, 30 minutes (1.5 hours total party time)
• 1 party host for every 11 kids

Party Costs: $150 (Res./NRes.) up to 11 children

All pricing is for up to 11 children. Additional children $5 each. Max: 20 children.

Sports Center Parties

Get Active at the Sports Center

If your child loves to play sports this is the perfect location for his/her birthday party. Our gym and indoor turf field can accommodate traditional sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, floor hockey as well as foam darts. All parties are 1.5 hours in total with 1 hour on the sports surface, followed by 30 minutes in the party room.
